This is probably due to the massive amount of sleep I accumulated this week but I was up early this morning. Really early. Sunrise early. So early that I’ve not only been awake for a couple hours now but I also dug out my sewing machine and made this cute cover for my heating pad. I had only been meaning to make one since forever. The old one was sad and gray and made out of this scratchy material that wanted to do nothing except pill and warn you not to use it on helpless persons.

I folded a rectangle of fabric in half, stitched up the two sides, hemmed the top and added two rectangles of Velcro to keep it closed but still leave room for the cord to hang out.

Cherries and apples! Cute huh?
